Tom Boyd

Tom Boyd currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Bank of America.  His career spans 37 years of client management and other management roles including government/institutional banking, treasury management, private banking, commercial banking, marketing and strategic planning, divisional finance and loan administration.  He is a Certified Cash Manager and earned a Certificate of Financial Planning from Florida State University. 

Tom graduated from MTSU with a Bachelor of Science degree and went on to receive his Masters of Business Administration degree from The University of Tennessee.  He served with the Tennessee Army National Guard form 1970-1976.

Throughout his distinguished career, he has maintained a continuing connection with MTSU serving on numerous boards and committees including Trustee -MTSU Foundation Board, Board Member – Jennings A. Jones College of Business Professional Advisory Board, Blue Raider Athletic Association member and season ticket holder for basketball and football games.

Tom is an active member, deacon, Finance Committee Chairman and adult Sunday School teacher at West Hills Baptist Church.  Some of Tom’s civic involvement includes:

Treasurer and Chairman, Middle Tennessee Chapter, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Treasurer and President, Tennessee Chapter of the Leukemia Society of America, Trustee, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America, Trustee – Belmont University, Treasurer, Citizens Committee of the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast and Adjunct Professor – Cumberland University and American Institute of Banking.
