Andrew Woodfin Miller

Andrew Miller is a 1966 Middle Tennessee State University graduate. He began his business career as a CPA with an international accounting firm. Mr. Miller joined Hospital Corporation of America soon after its inception and served as senior officer until 1982. During this period he also served as President and Chair of the Federation of American Hospitals representing the international for-profit health care industry in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Miller co-founded Surgical Care Affiliates in 1982, and founded two other publicly traded health care companies in Tennessee. He founded Women’s Health Partners in 1996 as a physician practice management company with approximately 150 physicians in several states. Mr. Miller is owner of HealthMark Partners, an investment company, and serves on the boards of numerous other private corporations. Currently, he is Chair and CEO of Women’s Health Partners, Nashville, and Chair and CEO of Vision America, Memphis.

Mr. Miller chairs the Andrew Woodfin Foundation, is a notable contributor to the United Way Alexis de Tocqueville Society, joining the Million Dollar Roundtable in 1996, and serves on the boards of the United Way of Middle Tennessee and the Cheekwood Foundation.

He is a member of the President’s Advisory Council and a supporter of the New Century/New Visions Campaign.
